Monsoon Update: The period of rain is continuing across the country these days. Rain causes a decrease in the maximum temperature. Due to the rain, people have also got relief from the humid heat.
The period of rain continues in the capital Delhi today i.e. Wednesday. Noida and Greater Noida, which are adjacent to Delhi, are witnessing rain in the evening.
The Meteorological Department had already issued an alert regarding rain in Delhi today i.e. on August 28. People were greatly troubled by the humid heat on Tuesday.
The rain process has resumed in Delhi this evening. Rain has left some individuals stranded on the roads. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, heavy rains can be seen in different areas of Gujarat, Kutch and Saurashtra for the next three days.
Apart from this, IMD has issued a red alert in view of heavy rains in Gujarat, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and coastal Karnataka. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for western and central India.
The Meteorological Department has issued rain warnings at different places in eastern Madhya Pradesh and western Madhya Pradesh.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy rains are expected in Odisha, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand. Meanwhile, the same weather pattern is expected in the northeastern region of India. Heavy rains may occur at some places in Nagaland, Meghalaya and Assam.
Rain warnings in southern India
The authorities have issued a warning for heavy rains in Mahe and Kerala over the next six days. Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in southern interior Karnataka, and excessive rains may also be seen at some places in coastal Karnataka.
Heavy rain is forecast in northwest India.
Alert has been issued for heavy rains at some places in Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Baltistan, Gilgit and Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, similar weather conditions are likely to prevail in Punjab, western and eastern Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh.
