The most awaited result are announced. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result of the Civil Services Main Examination (CSE) on 9 December. Candidates who had appeared for the UPSC Main Examination can check their results upsconline.nic.in upsc.gov.in the official website of UPSC. Candidates who pass the main examination will now be called for an interview by the UPSC. Then all the candidates who pass the interview will be selected for many services including IAS, IPS and IFS.
The UPSC exam is conducted in three stages, including preliminary, main exam and interview. This year, the UPSC Civil Services preliminary exam was held on June 16, while the main exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28 and 29.
How to Check Result?
1.First of all, go to the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
2. Then go to the ‘Whats New’ section on the homepage.
3. After that, click on the link that reads UPSC CSE Mains Result 2024 Download.
4. After the link opens, you can check the result with the help of your roll number.
5. Candidates must save a copy of the result and also take a printout of it.
Fill the form for the interview between 13 and 19 December
Through this examination, UPSC will recruit officers on a total of 1000 posts. Candidates scoring more than the cut-off marks will be eligible for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services and posts. All the candidates who have cleared the main examination will have to fill and submit their detailed application form-II (DAF-II) between December 13 and 19.
Note: Reserved category candidates
Candidates availing the benefit of reservation/relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD/Ex-Servicemen etc. will also have to submit the original certificates issued by the last date of application of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 i.e. 6 March 2024.
