People worship different forms of Maa Durga daily during the nine days of Navratri. People worship Maa Skandamata on the fifth day of Navratri. It is believed that Maa Skandamata has four arms. She has a lotus flower in two hands, Skanda Ji (Lord Kartikeya) in child form in one hand, and the Mother holds an arrow in one hand. Cleanliness: First, bathe in the morning and wear clean clothes.
