Mawa (Khoya) 500 grams
Sugar (200 grams)
Saffron strands (10-12)
Cardamom powder (1 teaspoon)
1/4 cup of milk
Method of making:
First, roast the mawa in a pan over a low flame.
Add sugar and milk and mix well when the male turns a light golden colour.
Dissolve the saffron strands in milk, then add them to the mixture.
Add cardamom powder and cook the mixture till it thickens.
Cool the mixture, form small balls, and shape them into pedals.
Offer Kesar Peda to Maa Chandraghanta.
