Today, on Tuesday morning, the bodies of 12 Naxalites have been recovered by the soldiers. Many weapons have also been recovered from the spot. The search operation of the soldiers is going on.
According to sources, Odisha State Chief Jairam alias Chalpati, a Naxalite with a reward of Rs 1 crore, is also among the Naxalites killed. CCM Manoj and Guddu are also reported to have been killed in this encounter. At present, other Naxalites are being identified.
SLR rifles and automatic weapons have been recovered from the Naxalites. According to the officials, all the information will be revealed after the search operation.
According to the information, a total of 10 teams of Chhattisgarh and Odisha security forces were seen carrying out a joint operation against the Naxalites. There is a possibility of finding more bodies of Naxalites during the search. The bodies of the Naxalites who have been killed have not been identified yet.
