No Toll Tax have to pay
In view of the Maha Kumbh being organized in Allahabad in January next year, the state government has made a big announcement in this regard.
The Yogi government has announced toll-free at many toll plazas for traveling to Kumbh Mela. The Yogi government has taken this big step in collaboration with the National Highway Authority of India. Under this, devotees coming to Mahakumbh will not have to pay toll tax for their vehicles. The Yogi government has announced toll-free at seven toll plazas.
Govt takes big decision
According to reports, the Yogi government has announced not to collect toll tax from devotees for 45 days during the Mahakumbh at Umapur toll plaza on Chitrakoot highway, Mauaima toll on Ayodhya highway, Andhiari toll on Lucknow highway, Mungari toll on Mirzapur road, Handia toll on Varanasi road, and Kokhraj toll on Kanpur road. They will be given free entry for Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.
40 crore pilgrims estimated at Maha Kumbh
About 40 crore devotees are expected to visit the Mahakumbh this time. In view of the increasing flow of devotees, facilities are being increased at Sangam and the city. Most of the pilgrims are expected to come in their own vehicles. According to the Mela administration, 55% of the devotees will come by car, Jeep, bus, truck, and tractor, while 45% will reach by railway, roadways, and flight. Railways is planning to run 1200 special trains and about 7000 buses of roads during Mahakumbh.
