Quetta blast news:- There is news of an explosion in northwestern Balochistan, Pakistan. Twenty-four people are reported to have died in the bomb blast at Quetta railway station. At the same time, 40 people have been injured.
A massive explosion has occurred inside the railway station in Quetta, Pakistan. Quetta Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Baloch has told the media that 16 people were killed and more than 30 people were injured in this incident. According to a Geo News report, initial reports indicate that the explosion took place in the booking office of the railway station just before the train reached the platform.
Railway officials said the Jaffar Express was scheduled to leave for Peshawar at 9 am. The death toll is expected to increase, given the crowd at the station. Police and rescue workers have reached the blast site. Emergency has been imposed at Quetta Civil Hospital, and doctors and paramedics have been called in.

According to railway officials, the Jaffar Express was scheduled to leave for Peshawar at 9 am. Officials say the train had not yet reached the platform when the blast occurred. Officials told Geo News that the condition of many injured remains critical.
Talking to the media, Senior Superintendent of Police Operation Quetta Muhammad Baloch said that the blast appeared to be a suicide blast. However, he said further investigation is underway. The police officer said that the blast took place inside the railway station. The explosion was heard far and wide in different areas of the city.
