Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s speech on Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar continues to create a ruckus. On Thursday, there was a fierce demonstration on this issue in Parliament. The opposition has accused Shah of insulting Ambedkar. At the same time, the Bharatiya Janata Party says that the Congress has edited the video of the Home Minister’s speech. In the midst of this political uproar over Dr. BR Ambedkar, a post by YouTuber Dhruv Rathi is becoming very viral on social media. The reason for this is that this picture is much more powerful. This picture tells a lot about the personality of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Actually, this is nothing but a list of his academic achievements. It tells with the year when and from which college he took which degree. Believe me, you will also be surprised to see this and realize how powerful and impressive his image has been.
Babasaheb’s Academic Achievement
Sharing this, Dhruv Rathi has written – ‘Power of Education’. In the picture, you will see that Babasaheb did his primary education from Satara and secondary education from Elphinstone High School, Mumbai. He received his BA in Economics and Political Science from Bombay University in 1913. He completed his M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University, New York, earning a scholarship.
Studying in the best institutions
He completed his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in 1921. After this, he enrolled in a gray-in college to study law. But due to financial constraints, he returned to India in 1917. Here he joined Sydenham College as a professor. His aim was only that he could go back to London and complete his studies. He borrowed money from his friend and went back to London to complete his studies. He completed his MSc and DSc from the London School of Economics.
Ambedkar’s social media buzz
Users are also shocked to see these achievements of BR Ambedkar. Many users have commented on this post of Dhruv Rathi. One user has written – There is hardly anyone in India who has more degrees than Baba Saheb.
Another user has written – Seeing this, people should understand that nothing is going to be achieved by hoisting the flag at someone’s house and raising provocative slogans outside the religious place and Kanwar Yatra. Whatever will be achieved will be achieved only by education. That’s why leaders send their children abroad. Amidst Amit Shah’s statement, there is a lot of discussion on social media about this post.
