PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Farmer registration is essential for farmers to avail the benefits of government schemes. Farmers who do not register will be deprived of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. However, only about 22,000 farmers in the district have registered so far.

As of December 26, 2,71,099 farmers have registered for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, but only 21,367 farmers have completed the registration. This means only 7.88% of farmers have registered so far, while the Agriculture Department continues to encourage farmers to register.

Saharanpur ranks fifth in terms of farmer registration.

The government had issued a directive a month ago, warning that farmers who do not register may be deprived of Samman Nidhi benefits. Under this scheme, farmers receive an annual sum of ₹6,000, paid at a rate of ₹500 per month.

When Will the 19th Installment Be Released?

Though the official date has not been revealed, the 19th instalment is expected to be released in January. Typically, instalments are released approximately every four months, so the next instalment is expected within this timeframe.

Who Might Miss Out on the 19th Installment?

Incorrect Application Form or Bank Details: Farmers who have errors in their application form or incorrect bank account information may see their instalments stuck. It’s crucial to double-check your information and ensure everything is correct (PM Kisan Update).

DBT Option Not Activated in Bank Account: If the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) option is not activated in the farmer’s bank account, their instalment can be delayed. Farmers should visit their bank to get this option activated.

Incomplete e-KYC: Farmers must complete the e-KYC process to receive their instalment. This can be done by visiting the official PM Kisan Yojana website (pmkisan.gov.in) or the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).

Non-Linking of Aadhar with Bank Account: If the Aadhar card is not linked to the farmer’s bank account, the instalment may not be credited. Ensure this process is completed as soon as possible.

Land Verification Pending: Farmers who have not completed the mandatory land verification process may also miss out on receiving the instalment. Farmers need to get their land verified to avoid being deprived of benefits.
