Viral Post:- Every day, something goes viral on social media. Now, an English assignment is becoming quite viral on social media. People are surprised to see this English assignment. This English assignment has been posted on X by a professor at Pennsylvania State University. Recently, a student’s English assignment was shared online with its mistakes.

The assignment contained many mistakes, which the professor corrected and wrote, which caused controversy. Professor Thomas Joudrey posted a picture of the student’s assignment on X, and the photo shows grammatical errors. In his caption, Joudrey expressed disappointment and wrote, “Undergrad writing has gotten so bad.”

Look at what one of my students turned in. However, sharp-eyed users immediately understood that this passage was a retyped section of Karl Popper’s The Open Society and Its Enemies, a famous philosophical work in 1945.

This post has been viewed more than 36 million times. Reactions to its content varied. Some found humour in the sarcastic revelation, while others faulted the professor for openly criticizing his student’s work.

One user wrote, “It seems Lou took it out on this student. Do you even have permission to post his work publicly and mock him for it?” Another user wrote, Do you think the word ‘humanity’ is also sexist because it has the word ‘man’ in it?

Another wrote – I’m terrible at writing, o can someone explain why “it is” is bevil

Joudrey responded to the backlash with a post: Wow, twTwittereally popped off on this one, but I guess that’s the price of living in an open society
