So, Did You Make the Cut? Know Your Qualifying Marks!

Alright, so to pass this exam, there are minimum marks you need to score. If you belong to the SC or ST category, you needed to get at least 35% marks. And for everyone else – General category, OBC, and EWS folks – the passing mark is 40%. Keep these numbers in mind when you check your scorecard.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Grab Your RSMSSB CET Result

Checking your result online is pretty straightforward. Just follow these easy steps:

  1. Website is the Key: First things first, you need to head over to the official RSMSSB website. You can type in rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in or even sso.rajasthan.gov.in in your browser. Both should get you there. rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in   

  2. Find the ‘Results’ Section: Once you are on the homepage, have a look around for a ‘results’ tab. It’s usually pretty easy to spot. Click on it!

  3. Roll Number Magic: After clicking, a PDF file will pop up on your screen. This file is super important because it contains the roll numbers of all the candidates who have been selected.

  4. Check and Download, Boss! Now, open that PDF and find your roll number. Once you spot it, download the result PDF.

  5. Print it Out for Keeps: Last but not least, take a printout of your result. It’s always good to have a hard copy for your records and any future use.

Quick Recap of the Exam Deets

Just to refresh your memory, the CET exam happened on September 27th and 28th, 2024. The paper had 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), and each correct answer carried 2 marks. So, the whole exam was for a total of 300 marks. Remember, there was negative marking too – for every wrong answer, one-third of your marks got deducted. The exam was conducted in two shifts each day – morning (9 AM to 12 PM) and evening (3 PM to 6 PM).  

Who Can Appear for RSMSSB CET Exams?

RSMSSB conducts these CET exams for different recruitment levels – graduation level and Level 12. If you were aiming for the graduation level jobs, you needed to have a graduation degree or something equivalent. For the Senior Secondary CET exam, you should have passed your 12th standard from a recognized board. Age-wise, you should be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as of January 1, 2025. Good news for some – there’s age relaxation! Unreserved female candidates get a 5-year relaxation. For male candidates from SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories, it’s also 5 years. And for female candidates from SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS categories, it’s a sweet 10-year relaxation.
