Income Tax Department Jobs: You can now work in the Income Tax Department. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has issued recruitment for the posts of Processing Assistant Grade B.
Interested candidates can apply for government jobs through the department’s website, incometaxindia.gov.in. The application process for these posts has started, and eight posts will be filled through this recruitment process.
Anyone applying for this recruitment must do so within 30 days of the notification’s release. This recruitment will reinstate eight posts in the Income Tax Department.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Candidates must fulfil one of the following qualifications to be eligible-

A master’s degree in Computer Applications or Computer Science or an MTech in Computer Applications is mandatory.
A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology from a recognized university is required.
Option B
Must have a Computer Applications, Computer Science, or Electronics and Communication Engineering degree.
Having two years of experience in electronic data processing and computer programming is mandatory.
Option C
Must have a master’s degree or engineering degree from a recognized university.
Must have three years of experience in electronic data processing, including computer programming.
What should be the age limit?
For anyone considering applying for Income Tax Department Recruitment 2025, the maximum age limit should not be more than 56 years.

Salary Details
According to the Seventh Pay Commission norms, Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 monthly will be given under Level 7.
