Sawan ka pehla somvar: Sawan month (Sawan 2024) is going to start from 22nd July, Monday. Lord Shiva’s favorite month is Sawan (Sawan 2024 puja vidhi).

How to make Samak Rice Keer
To make this kheer, wash the Samak rice thoroughly and soak it in enough water for at least 30 minutes. After draining all the water, heat the milk on medium flame in a heavy-bottomed pan. After this, add rice to it. After it boils, add saffron to it and cook it till the rice is cooked well.

It will take about 10–12 minutes to make it. Keep stirring in between; after the time is over, add sugar to it and mix. Now add chopped dry fruits and raisins and mix.
Then add cardamom powder and mix well. Cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the kheer thickens a little. Then turn off the flame.
After cooking, the kheer thickens. In such a situation, if the milk and rice are visible separately, then let it cook on low flame and make it thicker.
