The State Bank of India plans to recruit 10,000 new employees in the current financial year 2024-25. The best thing is that this recruitment will be done for many other posts besides PO and clerk. The bank will do this new recruitment to promote everyday banking needs. The bank has made significant investments in technology to strengthen its digital channel.

While talking to PTI, SBI Chairman CS Shetty said, “We are strengthening our workforce on the technology side as well as the general banking side. Recently, we announced recruiting about 1,500 technology people at the entry-level and slightly higher level.”

He said, “Our technology recruitment also focuses on specialized jobs like data scientists, data architects, network operators, etc. Our current year’s requirement is around 8,000 to 10,000 people.

Shetty said that SBI plans to open 600 branches nationwide in the current financial year. As of March 2024, SBI has a network of 22,542 branches across the country.

However, the bank has officially shared no information regarding the posts on which these recruitments will be done. According to media reports,

The notification of this recruitment can be released by December. However, SBI has not announced any official date for releasing the advertisement.

SBI PO Notification 2024

The notification of SBI PO recruitment will also be released soon. Last year, the notification for SBI PO recruitment was released on September 6. The application process started on September 7, and 2000 posts were recruited for the PO post. Graduate candidates from any recognized university can easily apply for SBS PO Vacancy 2024. The notification is expected to be released this month. The recruitment advertisement will be released on SBI’s official website.
