Shardiya Navratri 2024: Navratri has special religious significance in Hinduism. Navratri comes four times a year, and the last Navratri is Shardiya Navratri.
Today, i.e. 4th of October, is the second day of Shardiya Navratri. Today is dedicated to MaaBrahmacharini. On this day, Maa Brahmacharini is worshipped with complete devotion.

Navratri Day 2 Puja
The second day of Navratri is the day of Maa Brahmacharini. Maa Brahmacharini is also called the goddess of penance and renunciation. It is believed that by worshipping the Mother with complete devotion, devotees get sacrifice, penance, and renunciation. To worship Maa Brahmacharini, a vow of fasting is taken after bathing in the morning. Clean clothes are worn during worship.
Mother Brahmacharini loves white and yellow colour very much. For this reason, white or yellow clothes are worn during worship. Before worshipping, clean the temple and remove the dried flowers of the previous day. After this, light a lamp before the mother and keep fruits, flowers, sandalwood, kumkum, Akshat, and lamp; apart from this, chant the mother’s mantras, perform aarti, offer bhog, and complete the worship by distributing prasad among all the people in the house.
