Jaya Kishori started getting a spiritual environment from her family itself. Jaya Kishori started her spiritual journey when she was 6-7 years old. In her childhood, she used to listen to the stories of Lord Krishna from her grandfather with great joy. At the age of just 9, Jaya Kishori had memorized many hymns like Lingashtakam, Shiva Tandava Stotram, Madhurashtakamra, Shivapanchakshar Stotram, Daridray Dahan Shiva Stotram.
