Kedarnath Helicopter Fell: While taking a helicopter to another place in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, a major accident occurred. The helicopter plummeted to the ground from above, causing it to shatter into pieces. Fortunately, no one was underneath the helicopter, so there are no reports of casualties or property damage.

The accident occurred during the airlift to Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. Experts attribute the incident to a loss of balance. If the helicopter had fallen in a crowded area, it could have resulted in significant damage. According to some reports, the helicopter landed on 24 May.

A M1-17 helicopter retrieved the damaged helicopter after it plunged into the river close to Tharu Camp. The SDRF personnel arrived at the scene and began searching through the debris.

The helicopter had broken down during landing.

A few days ago, this helicopter had completely broken down while landing in the hills of Kedarnath. Following this, the department was given instructions on how to order the repair. They tied the M-17 helicopter to a wire for its repairs. During the flight, the helicopter’s tow rope broke, and it fell down into the hill. All this happened due to a sudden loss of balance.

The location of the helicopter’s fall is reportedly some distance from Badi. There is a mountain above and a small river below, according to reports. You can still observe the dispersion of the helicopter’s fallen debris. Following their arrival at the scene, the SDRF personnel are currently conducting an investigation. Simultaneously, they are conducting a thorough investigation into the accident. Some reports suggest that the helicopter encountered an issue during the Kedarnath Yatra, leading to its subsequent storage.
