Weather Update: North India is experiencing severe cold these days. The temperature is continuously dropping due to the increasing cold. The continuous snowfall in the mountainous areas is troublesome. People have started using heaters to avoid the cold.

The temperature is rinus in many areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Dal Lake in Kashmir has started freezing. Meanwhile, heavy rain threatens many regions of South India.

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding snowfall and heavy rain. According to the weather forecast, light rain and snowfall are likely in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, and adjoining areas on 16 and 17 December under the influence of Western Disturbance.

IMD issued a rain warning

IMD has forecasted heavy rain in Tamil Nadu on 17 and 18. An alert was also issued regarding heavy rain between December 16 and 19.

The Meteorological Department issued an alert regarding heavy rainfall on December 18 and 19in Kerala. Heavy rain is likely on December 17 and 18 in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and South Interior Karnataka.

Additional is expected at various places in the Nicobar Islands on December 15. Apart from light rain and lightning, there were differences in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from 15 to December 18. Besides the Theological Department, rain has also been predicted in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on December 17 and 18.

The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted severe cold from Delhi to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has predicted severe cold due to falling temperatures in Palwal, Faridabad, Gurugram, Mewat, Rewari, Mahendragarh and Bhiwani in Haryana. An alert has been issued for cold in Rohtak, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Kathal.

The weather department has predicted severe cold in Sirsa, Fatehabad and Panchkula. At the same time, living with cold winds can become complex in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bijnor and Moradabad of UP. Shravasti, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Balrampur, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Deoria issued a yellow alert for a cold wave.
