Weather Forecast- The mood of the weather is changing very fast across the country. In some states, mild cold has started being felt in the morning and evening. Cyclones and severe storms may occur in Odisha and West Bengal. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for both the states. According to the Meteorological Department, Cyclone Dana can take a severe form in many West Bengal and Odisha districts.
This storm is likely to cross the Odisha coast between the night of October 24 and the morning of October 25 and reach the coast of West Bengal. Due to Cyclone Dana, Railways has cancelled over 150 trains for the next two days.

The weather office also said heavy to hefty rain is likely in Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, and North 24 Parganas districts on October 24 and 25.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Kendujhar, Jajpur, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Khorda districts of Odisha on 24 and 25 October. Also, heavy rain is expected in South and North 24 Parganas, East and West Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata and Bankura districts of Gangetic West Bengal on 24 and 25 October.
