Weather Update: The mood of the weather in the capital, Delhi, is changing very fast. At this time, the intense sunlight in Delhi is making people sweat. Clear weather was seen in Delhi on Wednesday.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi today i.e. on October 2 is expected to be 26 degrees and the maximum temperature is expected to be 35 degrees. October 2 and 3 will be clear, and there will be bright sunshine.
It is reported that Delhi will experience a severe cold at this time. Also, IMD, i.e. India Meteorological Department, has indicated that La Nina conditions may develop during October-November. WMO says that by the end of this year, there is a 60 per cent chance that La Nina conditions will become stronger, which will cause the northern parts of the country to become colder than usual.
According to the Times of India report, there will be a shaking cold in the North West region, including Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas. IMD Chief Mrityunjay Mohapatra says, ‘ There is 71 per cent chance that La Nina will be ready during October-November… In the years when La Nina is formed, the temperature in the northern parts of the country, especially in the northwest and the adjoining central part, goes below average.
People may have to face cold waves in the winter months.’ However, he clarified that its severity would be known later because La Nina’s condition is still weak. The situation will become apparent in January or February.
Last year, a severe cold was seen in various states of North India, including Delhi NCR. Due to cold and fog, road, rail and air traffic were also severely affected. In most states, people were seen sitting with bonfires lit at various places in the morning and evening. Last year, the cold broke all records.
