John Cena has confirmed that he will compete in the upcoming Royal Rumble 2025, marking his final in-ring appearance before his retirement. Although it is not yet confirmed whether Cena will compete in the traditional 30-man battle royal or a separate match at the Royal Rumble, he will certainly wrestle in some form at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Cena, 47, is a 16-time world champion and has previously won the Royal Rumble twice (2008 and 2013). 2025 will be Cena’s final year in the ring. He clarified in his Money in the Bank conference that WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, scheduled for April 19-20, will not mark his final match. Cena plans to compete in various events from January to December 2025, with a total of around 30 to 40 appearances before retiring from active competition.
