This recruitment will be done in Delhi and UP. More than 44,000 Home Guard posts will be recruited in UP, while more than 15,000 Home Guard posts have been announced to be filled in Delhi.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced the recruitment of 44,000 home guards. The rules for this recruitment are being finalized. The recruitment advertisement will be issued after the rules are approved by the cabinet. This recruitment will be in two phases.

 

Rules

The manual envisages provision of written examination and increasing the run from 2 km to 2.5 km. For this, the rules of the State Disaster Management Authority are also being studied.

 

After applying for Home Guard recruitment, a written examination will be conducted. After this, district-wise merit will be made and the selected candidates will be raced. There is also a proposal to increase the race from 2.5 to 3 kilometers. As many as 1.18 lakh posts of Home Guard volunteers are sanctioned in the state, while 76,000 are currently working.

 More than 15,000 Home Guard Posts to be recruited in Delhi

More than 15,000 posts will be recruited in Delhi soon. Addressing the newly recruited Home Guard jawans at a recent event, Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said that 15,000 additional Home Guards will be added in the near future. With this, the total number of Home Guard personnel in Delhi will be more than 25,000.

 

It may be noted that in January this year, the nomination of 10,285 Home Guards was approved. Of these, nomination papers were distributed to 1,669 Home Guard jawans by the Lieutenant Governor on December 3.
