Maharashtra Budget 2025: Maharashtra Deputy CM and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar today presented the 11th budget of the state in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. While presenting the budget, Ajit Pawar thanked PM Modi. Ajit Pawar said that I express my gratitude to the PM and the central government for the relief given by the Center to the state in its budget. We will make every effort to fulfill the expectations of the people of Maharashtra.
Target of construction of roads
After this, the Finance Minister announced that Rs 5670 crore was sanctioned for the construction of 6500 km long road in the third phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Of these, 3785 km of work has been completed. In the financial year 2025-26, now the target is to build 1500 km long roads. Apart from this, the Finance Minister talked about creation of new jobs.
Target of 16 lakh jobs
Ajit Pawar said that the state is number one in the country in terms of foreign direct investment. In Davos, the state has signed agreements with 56 companies worth Rs 15.75 lakh crore, which will provide new employment opportunities to 16 lakh people. He further said that Maharashtra’s contribution to the country’s total GDP is 15.4 percent.
He further said that Maharashtra will become a leader in fulfilling PM Modi’s dream of a developed India by 2047. We will realize CM Devendra Fadnavis’ dream of ‘developed India’ and the state will become number one in this direction.
