Job In Railway: The Railway Board has canceled all the pending departmental recruitments on Group ‘C’ posts, which were not finalized and approved by March 4. The board has cited ‘illegality’ in the selection process as the reason for taking this step. According to the board, the selection processes which were not finally approved by March 4, 2025, will be considered canceled. Regarding the date of canceled recruitments and new recruitment, the railways said that no new selection will be done till further notice. The Railway Board sent this letter to the General Managers of all railway zones.

According to railway officials, in a circular sent to the general managers of all railway zones, the board said, “Due to several irregularities observed in the departmental selection in recent times, it has been decided to reconsider the departmental selection structure and all pending selections/LDCE/GDCE (within Group C) which have not been finalized and approved by March 4, should be considered cancelled. Further, it said, “No further selection can be started till further orders.

Let us inform you that the Railways usually conducts these departmental examinations internally through all railway divisions and zones. Recently, cases related to alleged corruption and attempts to cheat during these examinations had come to light.
