Punjab Police Constable Vacancy: Important information for the candidates applying for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment. The application window for this recruitment by the state police will be closed today on 13 March 2025. Therefore, interested and eligible candidates are advised to apply by visiting the official website of Punjab Police punjabpolice.gov.in. To apply, applicants have to upload other documents including educational documents. Only after this the online application form will be accepted.

A total of 1,746 posts will be recruited by Punjab Police through this recruitment drive. These include 1261 posts of District Police Cadre and 485 posts of Armed Police Cadre. The notification for this vacancy was issued on 12 February 2025. After this, the process of online application for recruitment started on 21 February 2025. At the same time, today is the last date for application.

Educational Qualification

For this recruitment, candidates who have passed 12th or its equivalent examination from a recognized board or university on or before 1 January 2025 can apply for this recruitment drive. Also, the minimum educational qualification for ex-servicemen candidates is tenth pass. Applicants should have passed the final examination of class 10th with Punjabi language as a compulsory or optional subject. This much fee will have to be paid

General category candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay a fee of Rs 1200. SC, ST and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 700 to apply. Apart from this, this fee will be Rs 500 for the applicants of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) of the state.
