Citroen C3 Aircross: From city cars to SUVs, new magic has come in Citroen’s cars. The company has added many amazing features to its popular cars C3 and C3 Aircross. You must have waited for these features for a long time. Also, Citroen has unveiled its new amazing SUV Basalt.
Rain of new features in C3 and C3 Aircross
C3 Aircross now gets automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps, AC vents for rear seats, six airbags, and a large armrest.
Apart from this, the rear power window buttons of the car have now shifted to the door and a new flip key has also been given in the car.
At the same time, features like LED projector headlamps, auto folding ORVMs, and automatic climate control have also been added to the C3.
It also gets the same 7-inch digital instrument cluster as the C3 Aircross and a new Basalt interior option. The best part is that now six airbags have become standard in both cars.
Prices may increase slightly
Due to the addition of new features in both these cars, their prices may increase slightly. The new prices have not been announced yet, but the company will soon give information about it.
Competition of C3 and challenge of C3 Aircross
Before the update, the price of C3 started from Rs 6.16 lakh and went up to Rs 9 lakh, while the price of C3 Aircross started from Rs 9.99 lakh and went up to Rs 14.11 lakh.
C3 competes with cars like the Hyundai Accent and Tata Punch, while there is no car to compete directly with C3 Aircross. However, it may face competition from mid-size SUV segment cars like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
Citroen Basalt’s blast
Citroen India has also introduced its new compact SUV Basalt. This car was shown in March 2024, but now its production model has also arrived.
The design of Basalt is similar to the earlier concept model. This car will compete directly with Tata Curve, which is going to be launched on 7 August.
Complete information about the size, features, and engine of Basalt has been received, but the price has not been announced yet. However, it is expected that its starting price will be around Rs 13 lakh.
