One small piece of ginger

Three – four garlic cloves

Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder

Two or three green chillies

Salt according to taste

Prepare Dal Pitha without ghee or oil in this way:

First, to make Dal Pitha, you must soak rice and gram lentils separately for about four to five hours. When it is soaked, grind the rice in a mixer. If required, keep adding water little by little. Then, mix salt in the ground rice.

Then, heat a pan on medium flame, add the batter, and keep stirring it well. When it dries completely, please take out the batter on a plate and let it cool. Here, you start preparing the stuffing. Add green chillies, ginger, and garlic cloves to the gram lentils for this.

After grinding all these properly in the mixer, add turmeric and salt according to taste. Now, take a big ball from the prepared rice dough, press it with your hands and make it very thin. Then, after filling a little lentil, close it properly.

Now you have to take a pan and boil the water; as soon as it boils, put the pitha in it and let it cook well on low flame. When it is cooked, take it out in a pan.

You can serve it hot with chutney, sauce or gravy vegetables and eat it as you wish.
