KYC update and changing FASTag is necessary

If you have a three to five-year-old FASTag, then you have to update its KYC. You have to complete this work by 31 October 2024. Apart from this, if your Fastag is older than five years, then it is also necessary to replace it.

Update vehicle information

From now on, every FASTag must have the vehicle registration number, chassis number, and mobile number of the vehicle owner.

If you have recently bought a vehicle, then you will have to update the registration number in FASTag within 90 days.

Upload a photo of the vehicle

Under the new rules, you will also have to upload a photo of your vehicle. The front part of the vehicle, side, and FASTag should be visible in the photo.

Link mobile number

Every FASTag should have the mobile number of the vehicle owner linked. This will help FASTag companies to easily contact customers.
