What is the purpose of FPO?
The government of India has started an FPO to provide farmers with a better life. Under this scheme, to make farmers’ business people and their lives more enjoyable, they are given a loan of up to Rs 15 lakh to start their own business.
For this scheme, this money does not come into the account of any one farmer. A group of farmers, consisting of 11 farmer brothers with joint accounts, comes under it.
If media reports are to be believed, the farmers are returning this money because, according to the government, this loan must be used only for agriculture-related business.

The loan the government gives to the farmers, under which a loan of Rs 15 lakh is deposited in the farmers’ account, is called the FPO scheme. Under this scheme, the money comes from the joint accounts of 11 farmers instead of a single farmer.
The amount received through this scheme is used only in agriculture-related business. If the company you created is acceptable to the government, then the government will also give you a subsidy.
How to apply
If you want to take a loan from the government under the FPO scheme, you have to go to the official site of Krishi Bazaar: https://www.enam.gov.in. After this, you must complete the form by clicking on the FPO option.
Along with this, you also have to upload the related documents. After filling in all the information, submit your application. Your form will be verified and processed by the government.
