Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: The company has launched Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in the Indian market with dual-cylinder CNG technology. On the lines of Tata Motors, the company has used two different cylinders in this car. After Exter, this is the second car in which Hyundai has used dual-cylinder technology.

When Tata Motors launched its first CNG car with dual-cylinder technology in the market recently, it created a stir in the CNG car segment. This new technology has largely removed the biggest concern of CNG car owners i.e. boot-space (space available in the boot). Following the same path of Tata, Hyundai recently introduced its EXTER CNG with dual-cylinder. Now the company has launched its second car Grand i10 CNG with the same technology.

Talking about design then, Hyundai Motor India says that this car will provide better mileage and boot-space. Tarun Garg, Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Grand i10 Nios Hi-CNG Duo has been designed keeping in mind the changing needs of customers. With an advanced dual cylinder CNG system, excellent fuel efficiency and safety features, Grand i10 Nios is designed for a comfortable driving experience.”

Talking about safety features, then 6 airbags have been included as standard in this car. Apart from this, features like Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Day and Night In Side Rear View Mirror (IRVM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) are available. Let us tell you that after Tata Motors, Hyundai is the second company that is using dual-cylinder technology in its CNG car.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Engines

Talking about engine then, the company has given a 1.2 liter petrol engine in this car. Which is capable of running on both petrol and CNG. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. However, there is no automatic option in it. Let us remind you that Tata Motors also offers the option of automatic transmission in its Tiago CNG.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Specification

Talking about specification, then Hyundai says that an integrated electronic control unit (ECU) has been used to improve safety in the new Grand i10 Nios CNG. Which provides a smooth transition facility to convert from petrol to CNG. Apart from this, the car has projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, roof rails, shark fin antenna, 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system and connectivity features.

Talking about the price of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, then the starting price of the new Grand i10 Nios CNG has been fixed at Rs 7,75,300 (ex-showroom).
