Weather Update: Most parts of India are witnessing heavy rains at this time. In some states, due to heavy rains, rivers are in spate and flood conditions prevail. People have gotten relief from the heat due to rain.
But humid heat is still being seen in some states. The good thing is that the Meteorological Department has issued an alert in view of heavy rains in some states for the next few days.

On the other hand, incidents like cloudburst are coming to the fore due to heavy rains in some states. According to the Meteorological Department, today, i.e., on August 6, an alert has been issued regarding rain in some states, including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Mizoram.
Rain warning in Delhi
According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent rain will continue in the country’s capital, Delhi. If the Meteorological Department is to be believed, heavy rain will be seen in Delhi between August 6 and 8. According to the IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can be recorded between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius throughout this week. While the minimum temperature is expected to be around 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.
Heavy rain warning in these states
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on August 7 in view of heavy rains. Apart from this, heavy rains ranging from 115.6mm to 204.4mm can be recorded in different areas of Himachal Pradesh. The meteorological department has issued an orange alert for Himachal Pradesh. It may rain in many areas of Himachal on August 7 and 8.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected at different places in Punjab and Haryana in the next two days. Very heavy rains are also expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Heavy rains have been predicted in the northeastern states in the next five days.
According to weather forecast agency Skymet, heavy rains may occur in North Gujarat and South Rajasthan today. Apart from this, there may be rain in Central Maharashtra, North Konkan, Goa, and South Gujarat. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for heavy rains in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim and Assam, Eastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, and Chhattisgarh.
