Additional facilities are given to senior citizens
It is often seen that senior citizens also face a lot of difficulties in submitting their life certificates. With this problem in mind, the government has kept an additional month for their convenience.
All senior citizens can also fill their life certificates in October. For general pensioners, it is the month of November in which they have to fill their life certificates. Senior citizens must submit their life certificates between 1 October to 30 November and all others between 1 November to 30 November.
What is a Digital Life Certificate
Keeping in mind the convenience of pensioners, many facilities have been given to them. Earlier, pensioners had to visit their respective banks to submit their life certificates, due to which many times they would miss the month of November. There used to be a lot of crowds in the banks as well.
In such a situation, the government started a system of digital life certificates for the people, which has been named Jeevan Pramaan Patra. So that you can easily submit your digital life certificate by doing your biometric verification sitting at home. This is a simple way through which you can submit your life certificate.
Sparsh Life Certificate
People who are pensioners related to any defence have been allowed to submit their life certificate through the Sparsh portal started by the defence. The life certificate deposited through the Sparsh portal is directly verified by their bank and submitted.
How to submit a life certificate online
To submit a life certificate digitally, you have to go to the Google Play Store and download the Jeevan Pramaan Patra app. After this, you will have to sign in using your Aadhaar card and password and submit your life certificate through biometrics.
To submit the life certificate offline, you will have to go to your respective bank and fill out the life certificate form. After filling out the form, you will have to submit your PPO and Aadhaar card along with your PAN card to the bank. Your life certificate will be added by the bank after verifying your submitted form.
