Maruti Ciaz: July 2024 was not good for Maruti Suzuki India in terms of sales. The company faced a downgrowth of 10% on an annual basis. The company faced a decline in almost all segments. However, the company’s condition was the worst in the mid-size segment.
Actually, the company has luxury sedan Ciaz in this segment. Last month, 603 units of this were sold. Whereas, in July 2023, this figure was 1348 units. That is, on a year-on-year basis, 603 units of Ciaz were sold less. It got a decline of more than 55%.
Maruti Ciaz Sales
Talking about the sales of Ciaz this year, 363 units were sold in January, 481 units in February, 590 units in March, 867 units in April, 730 units in May, 572 units in June and 603 units in July. In this way, 4,206 units were sold during the 7 months of the year.
Maruti Ciaz Features
Talking about features then, Maruti has included more than 20 safety features in Ciaz. It now includes Hill-Hold Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) as standard.
That is, it will be available in all variants. Features like dual airbags, rear parking sensor, ISOFIX child seat anchors, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) will also be available in the car. The company claims that passengers will be safer than before in this sedan.
Maruti Ciaz Engines
Talking about engine then, the company has not made any changes in the engine of the new variant of Ciaz. It will get the same old 1.5 liter petrol engine, which generates 103bhp power and 138Nm torque.
The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The company claims that its manual version gives a mileage of up to 20.65km/l and the automatic version up to 20.04 km/l.
Maruti Ciaz Specification
Talking about specification then, Maruti Suzuki has given new safety updates to its luxury sedan Ciaz in February. Also, the company has added 3 new dual tone colors to it.
In dual tone, Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with Black Roof, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray with Black Roof and Dignity Brown color options will be available. The new variant has been launched in both manual and automatic transmission.

Talking about Maruti Ciaz then, its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 11.14 lakh. At the same time, Rs 12.34 lakh will have to be spent for the top variant.
