PNB FD Interest Rates: Do you invest your money in Punjab National Bank (PNB) as a fixed deposit (FD), then there is good news for you.

The bank has upgraded the interest rates of FD. These new rates have implemented into effect from August 1, 2024. These rates of Punjab National Bank apply to FDs up to Rs 3 crore.

PNB FD interest rates rise

PNB allows general customers to invest in FDs ranging from 7 days to 10 years. The bank is giving interest ranging from 3.50 percent to 7.25 percent on FD.

At the same time, senior citizens are getting interest ranging from 4 percent to 7.75 percent. The bank is giving interest up to 8.10 percent to super senior citizens (above 80 years of age).

  2. 15 days to 29 days: For the general public – 3.50 percent; For senior citizens – 4.00 percent
  3. 91 days to 179 days: For the general public – 4.50 percent; For senior citizens – 5.00 percent
  4. 180 days to 270 days: For the general public – 6.25 percent; For senior citizens – 6.75 percent
  5. 271 days to 299 days: For the general public – 6.50 percent; For senior citizens – 7 percent
  6. 301 days to less than 1 year: For the general public – 6.50 percent; For senior citizens – 7 percent
  7. More than 1 year and less than 399 days: For general public – 6.80 percent; For senior citizens – 7.30 percent
  8. 400 days: For general public – 7.25 percent; For senior citizens – 7.75 percent
  9. 400 to 2 years: For general public – 6.80 percent; For senior citizens – 7.30 percent
  10. More than 2 years and less than 3 years: For the general public – 7.00 percent; For senior citizens – 7.50 percent
  11. 1204 days – For the general public – 6.40 percent; For senior citizens – 6.90 percent
  12. 1895 days: For general public – 6.35 percent; For senior citizens – 6.85 percent
