Get the necessary work done by the due date
The Rajasthan government has decided to extend the last date for getting e-KYC done for ration card holders till 30 November 2024. If you have not done the e-KYC work yet, then somehow you have not completed your e-KYC process yet. Earlier, the last date for getting e-KYC done was till 31 October.
According to District Logistics Officer Kapil Jhajhadia, the state government has taken this decision after the order issued by Additional Food Commissioner Poonam Prasad Sagar. The purpose of the e-KYC process will be to ensure that only the real beneficiaries get the benefit of the scheme.
Through this process, those people will be identified and removed from the list. To complete the e-KYC process, ration card holders will have to go to their nearest fair price shop and submit a copy of the Aadhar card. Those who do not have fingerprints, their e-KYC will be done through iris scanning.
Ration card may be canceled
You will need to get the ration card e-KYC done soon. If e-KYC is not done by November 30, their ration card can be canceled and they will stop getting the benefits of the scheme. So far, 80 percent of the people in Jhunjhunu district have completed their e-KYC process, while there are 20 percent people who have not yet completed this process. There are a total of 13 lakh 50 thousand ration card holders in the district, out of which 10 lakh people have done e-KYC.
