Ingredients required:

Besan – two to three cups

Ghee – one cup

Sugar powder (powdered sugar) – 1 cup

Chopped cashews – 10 to 12

Chopped almonds – 10 to 12

Pistachio shavings – one teaspoon

Cardamom powder – one teaspoon

Method of making Besan laddu:

To make Besan laddu, first, you must take a pan and put it on medium flame. Now add two to three teaspoons of ghee to it. As soon as the ghee starts melting, immediately add gram flour and mix it well. Roast the gram flour on low flame for about 12 to 15 minutes. Keep frying the gram flour until it turns brown.

Then, when a mild fragrance starts coming from it, add chopped cashews and almonds. Now fry for two to four minutes. After some time, add water and fry. Keep frying it until the water of the gram flour dries up completely. Then, turn off the gas and remove the gram flour from a thali or a big plate.

The besan will be very hot right now, so keep it aside for some time to cool down. When the besan is slightly warm, add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to it and mix it well with your hands.
