Ingredients for making Mushroom Masala:

About 2 – 3 cups of mushrooms

Oil as per requirement

Half cup chopped tomatoes

One cup of chopped onions

4-6 garlic cloves

A one-inch piece of ginger

10 -12 almond kernels

2-3 bay leaves

Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder

1 inch cinnamon piece

3 – 4 green cardamoms

One teaspoon of red chilli powder

One teaspoon of garam masala

Half teaspoon coriander powder

Half teaspoon Kasuri methi

Salt as per taste

Prepare Mushroom Masala at home with this simple method:

First, keep a pan or wok on medium flame, add onion, tomato, and garlic, and fry it on high flame for 5-6 minutes while stirring.

Turn off the flame and let this mixture cool down a little.

After this, add the roasted ingredients, ginger and almonds, to the mixer jar and grind them to make a paste.

Now, you have to heat oil in a pan on medium flame. When the fragrance starts coming from it, add the prepared paste and fry it while stirring. Do not keep the flame too high; otherwise, the masala can burn.

When this paste leaves oil while frying, add turmeric, garam masala, red chilli and coriander powder and mix well. Then fry it for about 2-3 minutes more, add one cup of hot water, and boil it.

When it boils well, add kasuri methi, cook for 2-3 minutes, and turn off the flame.

Your delicious mushroom masala is ready. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
