Hyundai Creta is at the forefront of car sales in September 2024. 17,350 units of which have been sold. Also, a positive annual growth of 23 percent has also been registered as compared to September 2023.

Also, the new Hyundai Creta has sold 1 lakh units last month since its launch in January this year. Creta is also available in the N Line version. Which attracts customers who want a sportier version.

The Creta is followed by the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which recorded sales of 16,854 units and saw a decline of 6 percent year-on-year. Swift is followed by Wagon R., Which registered a positive growth of 25 per cent after registering a decline in sales last month as compared to September 2023.

The best-selling car of last month, Tata Punch, stood at fourth place with sales of 16,121 units and a growth of 34 percent year-on-year. Punch was followed by two more Maruti Suzuki vehicles – Ertiga and Brezza, selling 15,701 units and 14,676 units respectively. While Ertiga saw a growth of 9 percent year-on-year. At the same time, Brezza sales declined by 11 percent.

Tata Nexon is at number seven. Which has seen positive growth for the first time in recent times. In September 2024, Tata has registered sales of 13,902 units. Which is an increase of 13 percent on an annual basis.

Mahindra is also one of the few car manufacturers to register positive growth in July 2024 and the credit goes to Scorpio, which has registered sales of 12,237 units. The top 10 list includes two more products of Maruti Suzuki, Eeco and Dzire. Both have registered negative sales.
