The results of Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana assembly elections will be released today, the counting of which is going to start from 8 am. Heavy police force has been deployed at the counting places. CCTV cameras have also been installed at the counting centers to avoid any kind of disturbance. The picture will be clear by 12 noon as to who is going to win in both the states.
If the exit poll is to be believed, Congress seems to be getting an absolute majority in Haryana. NC-Congress seems to be becoming the largest party in Jammu and Kashmir. Assembly elections are being held for the first time in Jammu and Kashmir after the repeal of 370. Earlier, assembly elections were held in the year 2014. After which five years later, i.e. in the year 2019, the central government repealed 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Since then, President’s rule was going on in Jammu and Kashmir.
Security increased in Jammu and Kashmir
In view of the results of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, security has been increased. Security forces have also been alerted in the border areas. Three-tier security arrangements have been made at the counting centres. Not only this, security personnel have taken full control of all the centres in Kashmir valley and parts of Jammu region, where soldiers are guarding day and night.
Voting was done in three phases for all 90 seats in Jammu and Kashmir. Voting was done for 24 seats in the first phase, 26 seats in the second and 40 seats in the third phase. Now everyone is eagerly waiting for the election results.
Who will win in Haryana
Voting was done in a single phase for all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. If exit polls are to be believed, Congress seems to be getting majority. If exit polls turn into results, then Congress will return to Haryana after 10 years. In the Lok Sabha elections, there was a close contest between Congress and BJP in terms of seats.
Congress won 5 seats and BJP also won 5 seats. For information, let us tell you that a total of 1,031 candidates including 464 independents and 101 women were in the fray for 90 seats in the state, everyone is now waiting for their fate to be revealed. The main fight in the state is believed to be between BJP and Congress. Apart from BJP and Congress, there are Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Bahujan Samaj Party, Jannayak Janata Party, Azad Samaj Party. Congress and BJP are likely to become kings on most of the seats.
