The Czech manufacturer introduced the new-gen Skoda Octavia RS alongside other products from the brand at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.

New Skoda Octavia Rs 2025Speaking about the appearance and aesthetics, the Octavia RS resembles the normal version of the sedan except the fact that it has a blacked out radiator grille, it’s a restyled grille with bigger air intakes, freshly designed alloy wheels and so on. The grille is bordered by aggressive headlamps with projector units on both sides and split LED DRLs on both sides. The bonnet features thin creases whereas the side profile receives bigger alloy wheels with a fresh design.

In the rear profile of the sedan, the vehicle receives smaller and wraparound LED taillights, lip spoiler etc. The exhaust pipes are available in black color and are electronically tuned for a more powerful sound during start-up and sport mode.

What’s Inside The Octavia Rs Interior?

Here, The Skoda Octavia RS interior resembles the regular model in layout. But the all-black scheme with red colour highlights on the dashboard, door trim and elsewhere provides it a sporty ambiance, which suits the RS badge of the sedan. It receives a flat-bottom sporty steering wheel, a fully digital instrument cluster and a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. The centre console receives a glossy panel with soft-touch buttons.

Sedan’s Powertrain and Details:

The car is driven by the firm’s well-known 2.0-liter four-pot engine. The engine presently produces a top power of 259 bhp and a peak torque of 372 nm. The new Octavia RS from Skoda has a seven-speed DSG automated transmission, which claims to touch 100 kmph from rest in 6.9 seconds, Which positions it among the quickest front-wheel drive vehicles worldwide.

But, Currently the company sells only the Slavia model in India in the sedan category. The mid-size sedan has been a hit for the company despite the general pressure on the segment due to the fast increasing demand and sales of SUVs. But the exhibition of the Skoda Octavia RS at the Auto Expo suggests that the company is looking to introduce sedans again in India in near future.
