Budget-Friendly Bikes: Bajaj Auto has launched a new variant of its new Pulsar NS 125 LED BT ABS in India. The ex-showroom price of this new model is Rs 1.07 lakh. Now this bike is giving direct competition to the TVS Raider 125. Both the bikes look much better in terms of design. But which bike is better in terms of engine performance and features and which one is beneficial to buy.

Price

The ex-showroom price of Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is Rs 1.07 lakh while the ex-showroom price of TVS Raider 125 is Rs 1.04 lakh. There is not much difference in terms of price.

Design

Talking about the design, the design of the Pulsar NS 125 and Raider 125 is quite sporty. But here Raider 125 looks much better, while Pulsar NS 125 is not able to impress much in terms of design. Despite the sporty look, it lags behind the Raider 125.

Features

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has an LCD, which gives information about the speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and real-time mileage. You can also connect your smartphone via Bluetooth and get information about call and SMS alerts. At the same time, the TVS Raider 125 has a TFT display.

It has smartphone connectivity for call and SMS alerts, sports and weather updates and turn-by-turn navigation with voice assist. LED headlights are seen on both the bikes. Two riding modes are also given in this bike. Apart from this, it has features like a side-stand cut-off, a silent start system, and a USB charging port.

Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 has a 124.4cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 11.8 PS of power and 11 Nm of torque. Its engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The TVS Raider 125 has a 124.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 11.38 PS of power and 11.2 Nm of torque. Its engine is also mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Pulsar NS125 has telescopic forks and a 5-step preload adjustable monoshock. It has a 240 mm front disc a 130 mm rear drum brake and 17-inch alloy wheels on both sides. It has a single-channel ABS for safety. The bike weighs 144 kg.

The TVS Raider 125 has telescopic forks and a 5-step preload adjustable monoshock. It has a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake. Also, tubeless tires have been given with 17-inch alloy wheels. It has been given SBT (Synchronized Braking Technology). The Raider has a seat height of 780 mm and weighs 123 kg.
