South Korea’s largest car manufacturing company Hyundai is all set to launch its one of the most successful SUV, “Hyundai Tucson” in India. The company is soon going to launch the Tucson facelift which will be even better in safety as compared to its previous generation. However, the previous generation Tucson got 5 stars Global NCAP rating!
So let me tell you, Hyundai unveiled the new Tucson facelift SUV for the global market last year.
And What New Changes We Got?
Hmm so looking at its front, we can see a newly designed grille which is a bit sharper and more attractive than before. This means that it is based on the revised parametric dynamic design which looks similar to other Hyundai cars. There is no change in its headlamp cluster, but some minor changes are visible in the LED DRL which is attached to the front grille. Apart from this, the central air intake on the front bumper has also been slightly changed.
The new Tucson has got new alloy wheels and coming at the rear, both the bumper and the taillight have received minor changes so that’s all about exterior changes, Now slide into its interior cabin.
Here, If we look inside the cabin of the new Hyundai Tucson, a lot of changes have been made by the company. The three-spoke steering wheel and a slightly altered dashboard will be the first things that will be noticed. A slightly curved panoramic display on the dashboard, a 12.3-inch full digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display have been given here. Revised switchgear, repositioned AC vents, new center console, wireless smartphone charging, paddle shifters and many other new features we will get to see in this SUV. The engine remains the same and no technical changes have been made in it.
And what about safety?
We all know that the Government of India recently issued strict norms for the car manufacturing companies to give basic safety features in their cars as standard.
So from 2025 in every car whether it is hatchback or supercar we see major changes in safety point of view made by the companies to follow government rules.
So at this point if we consider the features this car gives it’ll most probably come in India at the price range of Rs 30-35 lakhs which will be interesting to see because, at this price the competition is very high in the Indian market. We see Kodiaq, Jeep like SUVs running on roads and loved by the consumers also so it’ll lil bit hard for Hyundai to be a showstopper at this range in the market.
However, the company has not revealed anything regarding this SUV yet when It’ll launch in India but we can expect it’s India debut by the end of 2025.
