Xiaomi has officially revealed the camera details of its Xiaomi 15 Ultra smartphone. This phone is going to launch in China on February 27 and there is tremendous excitement in the tech community about it. Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to set a new benchmark with its Leica-powered imaging system and 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
Camera system
According to Xiaomi’s promotional poster, this smartphone will have Leica ultra-pure optical system, which will make the image quality excellent. Xiaomi has given it the codename “Night God”, which reflects the low-light photography capability of this phone.
The phone will be equipped with a 1-inch primary sensor, which will make the photography level better than before. Xiaomi claims that this setup will provide ultra-clear image quality and excellent dynamic range.
Telephoto camera
Another poster from Xiaomi shows a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, which will have a 9.4mm aperture and 100mm focal length.
- This camera will have an f/2.6 aperture, which will give excellent low-light performance.
- It supports 200mm and 400mm lossless zoom, which will give excellent telephoto performance.
- The 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor used in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has now been replaced by a Samsung HP9 lens.
