Ingredients for making Aloo Chana Sabzi:
250 grams of potatoes
250 grams of chickpeas
Two big onions
Two tomatoes
1 inch piece of ginger
10 to 12 garlic cloves
One teaspoon black pepper
One teaspoon cumin seeds
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon chili powder
One teaspoon garam masala powder
One teaspoon chana masala powder
Finely chopped coriander
Two tablespoons mustard oil

Method of making Aloo Chana Sabzi
First of all, soak the raw chickpeas in water overnight and swell them. The swelled chickpea vegetable turns out to be very tasty. Now put two tablespoons of oil in the cooker and when the oil is heated well, add cumin seeds, bay leaves and red chili to it. When the tadka crackles, add finely chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and fry well.
When the onion is fried well, add all the ground spices to it and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add finely chopped tomatoes to the roasted masala and salt according to taste. When all the spices are mixed well, add chickpeas and boiled potatoes and mix well.
Now when a light fragrance starts coming from the spices, add one to one and a half glasses of water and add one spoon of garam masala as well as one spoon of chickpea masala and mix well. Cook for 3 to 4 whistles on medium flame.
