To make black chickpeas and potato curry, you will need these ingredients:

Chickpeas – 250 grams
Potatoes – four large size
Onion – four large size
Ginger – one-inch piece
Garlic – 8 to 10 cloves
Chopped coriander – 2 to 3 teaspoons
Turmeric powder – one teaspoon
Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
Coriander powder – two teaspoons
Kashmiri red chilli powder – two teaspoons
Green chilli – 2 to 3
Tomatoes – 4 to 5
Ghee – two teaspoons
Cumin seeds – one teaspoon
Turmeric powder – one teaspoon
Red chilli powder – half teaspoon
Coriander powder – two teaspoons
Kashmiri red chilli powder – two teaspoons
Green chilli – 2 to 3
Tomatoes – 4 to 5
Ghee – two teaspoons
Cumin seeds – one teaspoon
Turmeric powder – one teaspoon

Make black chickpeas with this method

To make a tasty potato and black chickpea vegetable, first, soak the black chickpeas for about seven to eight hours. Then, after the chickpeas swell, boil the potato and chickpeas in a cooker. When you boil both of them, add mace and cloves to it. Now close the lid and cook on medium flame till 3 to 4 whistles. After this, turn off the gas, and after it is released, take both out in separate vessels.

Now peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces in a vessel. Then, peel about two onions and cut them into small slices. Now grind tomato, ginger and garlic together and make a paste. Then, take a big vessel where we will put chickpeas, chopped potatoes, onion, garlic, and ginger paste. Along with this, we will also add all the spices. Mix this mixture well, cover it with a plate, and leave it for some time.

Now put a cooker on the gas. Then, when the cooker is hot, add cumin seeds and cook it well. After this, add ground onion to it. When the onion is completely fried, we will magnetise grams and potatoes. After this, add about half a glass of water and mix everything well.

Then, cover the cooker and let it cook like this for 10 minutes. Keep removing the lid in between and check. When the onion completely melts and turns brown, we will also add kasuri methi. Then, add water and let it whistle one to two times.

After that when the onion is completely melted, we will also add kasuri methi and then add water to it and let it whistle one to two times, add water according to the amount of gravy you want. After this, turn off the gas. After the cooker cools down, add green coriander on top. Here you go; your delicious vegetable is ready.
