Aloo-cauliflower is made in every household during winter season which is very tasty and delicious to eat. Ingredients required for Aloo Gobi Sabzi:
500 grams of cabbage
250 grams of potatoes
2 to 3 onions
2 tomatoes
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 inch piece of ginger
Fresh green chillies
4 to 5 garlic cloves
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
Half teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt according to taste
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Half cup mustard oil
Method of making Aloo Gobi Sabzi:
First of all wash the potatoes and cabbage thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cabbage well and take it out. Similarly fry the potatoes well and keep it aside. Then pour some oil in the pan and when it gets hot, add cumin seeds and red chilli tadka.
When the tadka crackles, then add finely chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste and stir. As soon as the spices are fried, add all the ground spices and fry for 5 minutes. As soon as the spices start releasing their oil, add finely chopped tomatoes and cover and cook. Finally add fried potatoes and cauliflower and mix it well with the spices. Use water as per requirement and cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
