Ingredients for making potato curry:
500 grams boiled potatoes
One bowl of finely chopped onions
One bowl of finely chopped tomatoes
Two tablespoons ginger garlic paste
One teaspoon turmeric powder
One teaspoon cumin powder
One teaspoon black pepper powder
One teaspoon chaat masala
One teaspoon kasuri methi
Half bowl of curd
One teaspoon garam masala
Finely chopped coriander
Salt according to taste
Method of making potato curry:
Place the cooker on the gas flame. When 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil gets heated, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, half a teaspoon of mustard seeds and add finely chopped onions. When the finely chopped onions are fried well, add two teaspoons of ginger garlic paste and all the ground spices and fry for two to three minutes.
When oil starts coming out of the spices, add finely chopped tomatoes and cover and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. When the spices are fried well, add small pieces of potatoes and add one glass of water and mix.
Finally, add one teaspoon of crushed kasuri methi to it. Add salt according to taste and let it whistle twice. When the whistle of the cooker comes out, add finely chopped coriander and serve. Serve this potato curry with hot puris. It tastes very delicious.
