Aloo Matar Sabji: We always get bored of eating the same type of vegetable. And then we feel like eating something different and spicy. Since in the winter season, potato peas vegetable is made in every house. This vegetable is very tasty and delicious to eat and also spicy. Therefore, the recipe of potato peas vegetable is for you.

 

As we all know that potato is considered the king of vegetables and many types of nutrients are also found in it like vitamin C, potassium, vitamin B 6, calcium, iron and phosphorus.

Now talking about peas, the elements present in peas improve heart health. Nutrients like vitamin C, magnesium, potassium and calcium are found in it.

So let’s know the easy way to make delicious potato peas vegetable!

Ingredients required for Aloo Matar Sabzi:

500 grams of peas

250 grams of potatoes

2 to 3 onions

2 tomatoes

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 inch piece of ginger

Fresh green chillies

4 to 5 cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon red chilli powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

Half teaspoon black pepper powder

1 teaspoon garam masala

Salt according to taste

Finely chopped coriander leaves

Half cup mustard oil

Method of making Aloo Matar Sabzi:

To make Aloo Matar Sabzi, first peel the potatoes well and cut them into small pieces and also cut the onions in long shape. Heat half a cup of oil in a cooker and temper it with one teaspoon cumin seeds, two bay leaves and two dried red chillies.

Add chopped onions and fry for 2 to 3 minutes, then add potato pieces and fry for 1 to 2 minutes. Take all the ground spices in a bowl and prepare a good solution by adding two to three teaspoons of water.

Now fry the onion and potato well in the cooker and mix the spice mixture well. When the spices are lightly fried, add finely chopped tomatoes, one spoon of fenugreek and one spoon of garam masala and mix well. After 2 to 3 minutes, add fresh green peas and stir for 1 to 2 minutes.

When a good aroma starts coming from the spices, cook it for 2 to 3 times. Making aloo matar ki sabzi in a cooker gives it a very good taste.

Your aloo matar ki sabzi is ready!

Garnish it with finely chopped coriander and serve it with roti or paratha.
