One teaspoon of cumin powder

One teaspoon of black pepper powder

Method of making potato spinach curry:

First of all, clean the spinach thoroughly. And chop it finely. Similarly, remove the peel of the potato and chop it into medium size pieces. Heat 5 to 6 teaspoons of oil in an iron pan. When the oil is well heated, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds. After the cumin seeds crackle, add finely chopped garlic, ginger and onion to it. When the onion turns red, add all the ground spices and cover it.

When the spices start releasing their oil, add finely chopped tomatoes. Add four to five spoons of water and fry the masala well. When the masala starts leaving oil, add potatoes to it. Cook the potatoes well for 5 to 6 minutes. When the potatoes are well mixed in the masala, add finely chopped spinach and cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Use salt according to taste. Your spicy potato spinach curry is ready.
