Let’s see what ingredients we will need to make Amla candy.

Ingredients for making Amla:

500 grams of Amla

200 grams of sugar

One teaspoon dry mango powder

One teaspoon black salt

One teaspoon rock salt

1 inch piece of alum

Method of making Amla candy:

First of all wash Amla thoroughly with water. Keep Amla in a deep vessel in alum water for half an hour, this will remove all the dirt from Amla.

Now heat water in a pot and boil Amla in it for 10 to 15 minutes. When the boiled Amla cools down, take out different pieces and keep them.

Now put Amla in a glass jar and add sugar and mix. Keep the mixture of Amla and sugar in the same jar in the sun for 2 to 3 days. On the third day you will see that the sugar has melted well and dissolved in Amla. Now keep this Amla in an open vessel in the sun for three to four days.

As soon as the amla dries, add one spoon of dry mango powder and one spoon of black salt and mix it well. Store it in a glass jar. You can store this amla candy for a month and use it.
